In July of 2022, MSA deployed LUNAR™ Connected Devices to the City of Easton Fire Department in Pennsylvania – one for each firefighter. LUNAR is a handheld, wireless search and rescue device.
LUNAR helps you stay connected and stay protected with its Firefighting Assisting Search Technology (F.A.S.T.), edge detection enhanced thermal imaging, and cloud connectivity.
“Firefighting is inherently dangerous. As the Fire Chief, it’s my responsibility to make sure all of our firefighters are as safe as we can possibly make them,” said Chief Henry Hennings. “We decided to order one LUNAR for every firefighter, so we have overall accountability on the fireground. If we know where everybody’s at, we can track that now with the combination between the LUNAR and the MSA G1, and it gives us better overall management of the fireground.”
